Thursday Thoughts

1. Sunday Morning Worship - This week we will begin our first preaching series of the year centering around God's Will and the age old question of "Why?" Pastor Daryl will be preaching this weekend on "God, Where Are You?" from John 11:32-37.

We will also be celebrating the sacrament of communion in all our worship services. Know someone who might be wrestling with WHY? Invite them to come with you this weekend. We'll be worshipping at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am.

*Just a reminder. There is no Thursday Seven02Worship during January and February as our Upwards League reaches out to the community in that space.

2. UPWARDS Begins!

Practices for basketball and cheerleading will be on Tuesdays in the Family Life Center and games will be held on Thursdays throughout January and February. We've got a great group of kids signed up to participate and wonderful adults to help out - please keep this program in your prayers for a safe season of good sportsmanship.

3. GROW Night Returns

Wednesday Night dinners resume next week (1-9) and the kickoff for new GROW night classes will happen in two weeks (1-16). We have new class choices and new subjects aimed at helping you grow deeper in your faith. These classes are great ways to explore your faith, meet new people, and feel the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. We hope you will make plans to join us each week as we GROW together!

4.  Winterfest - SAVE THE DATE
Winterfest will soon be here!!!! Signup sheets will be out this weekend for you to come and help with this fabulous outreach event. Save the Date and tell all your friends and neighbors - Winterfest is Saturday February 2.

Have a wonderful rest of your week and we look forward to seeing you in worship this weekend!
